BREEDING:

The TRD breed is not like other western breeds.... being a primitive breed, the females normally come into "heat" once a year. A female pup will begin her 1st "heat" cycle at about 8-9 months of age. Then 8-12 months later she will come back into her 2nd "heat" and normally the same each year there after. Lets say a pup was born September 1st 2003. Her first "heat" cycle will take place about May 1st 2004. Then, I wait until her next "heat" cycle which could be up to at east a year later. May 1st 2005...I find a suitable male and on the 11th, 13th and 15th day after I see the first traces of blood, I just let the male do what comes natural. Once she has been bred at least 2-3 times, I then wait another 63 days for her to then show me the "puppies"...

WHELPENING:

These TRD are so natural that very little help is needed with the "whelping" (birthing) process. The mother will take as long as she wants, depending on how many pups in her litter. Normally 3-5 hours. Once all the pups are born she will clean them and start nursing them right away. All pups of all breeds are born with eye closed... they do not open their eyes for at least 10-12 days and their ears will open 14-17 days. They crawl around developing their muscles until about 3 weeks they start standing on wobbly legs learning how to walk.. They also become solid food hounds at about this same time. By the 4-5th week they are running around pooping and peeing all over and now it is now up to you to start the cleaning up after them as the mama will stop doing that for you.. She is normally fed up with them but will still let them suck as long as they can. Now, they are ready to be "weaned" from the mother's milk and start on a solid food. For the next 3-4 weeks they will grow very quickly and will be ready to leave the "nest" and go to a new home. This when normally the new owners will want to come to any said breeder to buy and take their new puppy home.

SELLING:

In most cases, a broker (a middleman) is required, he must care for and house any said TRD pup during these very important "bonding" period.. These pups must trained to "bond" with everyone and just only one person.. I train my pups to be friendly and very re-bondable to you...
The breeder or broker must then keep the pups for another 8 weeks until they are 6 weeks of age... The USDA has set certain rules about shipping ny animal into the USA. The rule on the rabies vaccine is very simple. The rabies shot must be given to any puppy at the age of 3 month (12 weeks) and the vaccine must be "in" that said pup for another 30 days...This is a USDA rule... not mine.. So, thus a pup must be 16 weeks of age before anyone can ship it to you, the new owners in America or any other country in the world. The selling price is up to the breeder and the buyer is responsibe for the shipping costs, cage cost and any vet costs.

SHIPPING:

So, that May 1st breeding of a BLUE/or RED/or BLACK/or FAWN female who helped er litter (gave birth) on about July 2nd (63 days is normal) and then hey can be sold at about 8 weeks to 16 weeks later on Sept. 2nd to Nov.2nd. They must get a rabies vaccine shot at 12 weeks (3 months) and then on the 16th week they can then be shipping to their new owners.
I ship all my pups to America via Thai Air Cargo (TAC) to LAX. (LAX is Los Angeles, CA USA)
I can use other airlines, but a Thai broker must be hired to handle the shipping on any other non-Thai airlines. That's the rules and one must follow the rule here in Thailand to get the job down.
So, figure from the time of mating to the time of shipping is SIX MONTHS...

BUYING A STERLING TRD:

If you are really serious about purchasing a STERLING TRD or any TRD or TBD that I have to go out to look for...and then purchase just for you...you must pay a $1000 deposit in advance for any BLUE or FAWN TRD and $500 for a BLACK or RED TRD... or any TBD.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS ON DEPOSITS OR BOARDING FEES on all TRD/TBD.  

Dogs must be picked up or shipped and all shipping costs, cage costs, vet costs, customs costs and any other costs must be paid by the buyer. All boarding costs MUST be paid prior of shipping. All monies due must be paid before shipping.
If you buy one of my own breedings, a $500 deposit is required and then you pick your pup after the 8th week. You can chose a pup from that litter via a webcam and fotos.. Once you chose the pup you want then the balance including shipping must be paid in full.
ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON REFUNDABLE if you decide to change your mind after the fact.. Most RED and BLACK TRD range in prices from $500 to $2000.. The FAWN and BLUE TRD are $1000 to $3500....depending upon the quality you want.
People must be very serious and PLAN AHEAD...

(2) Then you call me and we will chat awhile (use a pre-paid calling card...a wee bit iser)...
(3) You call or email a few other STERLING TRD owners..
(4) You then decide you really do want a STERLING TRD...you email me again...and tell me so!
(5) If I have the right one ready to go.. you pay in full and then that pup is shipped within a week...
(6) If you order a pup from one of my upcoming litters, you pay a deposit on that new "said" pup..
(7) As soon as that pup is 4 months of age...it is ready to be shipped to you.
(8) All payments are paid before the shipping...
YOU NEED TO SELL ME ON YOU BEING A NEW STERLING TRD OWNER...
AND NOT ME TRYING TO SELL YOU JUST ANY TRD...
